Max retrieves information from the Dial-a-Fact.

Max brings the Dial-a-Fact into the Chief's office.

Smart describes the device as "a great thing for secret agents who are tired and on the go".

Paper files are accessed by entering the relevant letter via a dial which is revealed when the top of the case is opened. The appropriate file then automatically rises.

A is for Assassins - a list of all the KAOS assassins known all over the world.

B is for Birthdays - a list of birthdays of secret agents all over the world, and the birthday presents Max sent them.

The Chief makes the mistake of dialing E.

C is for Codes.

D is for secret letter Drops.

E is for Everything - dialing this causes all papers being ejected at once, resulting in one of the Chief's recurring headaches.

Fortunately, H is for Headaches.
