• This is the third-to-last episode of the original TV series, and it marks almost a bookend for guest star Vito Scotti (Gino Columbus) as he previously played Professor Dante in the pilot "Mr. Big", notwithstanding his later appearance as Italian delegate in The Nude Bomb.

• The painting which Max admires and is then carried off by Columbus's employees in the teaser is a version of "Sunflowers" by Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh.
