Cover of the first edition.

Novelty book attributed to Don Adams and published by Price Sloan Stern in 1966. An Australian edition was also published by Horwitz Publications in 1967.

The book consists primarily of gags using the Would You Believe formula - some from television episodes, some original - with at least some pages apparently written in the first-person voice of Maxwell Smart. However, unlike Agent 99's memoir Out of CONTROL, there is no mention of it onscreen, leaving readers to draw their own conclusions as to its potential canonicity.

Max, 99 and Fang are all seen in photographs, along with depictions of other notables and historical personages who it is alleged also used Would You Believes.

Of particular interest is reference to "No. 1 KAOS Agent Rudolph T. Sebastian" who is evidently a disguise expert. Otherwise unknown, he may be a relative of Alexei Sebastian, if not a mistaken reference to him given Max's propensity for mangling names.
